On 3rd July 2009, the local police department confiscated a truck for overloading of 32 cattle destined for slaughter. Among the cattle were young, healthy animals and even pregnant ones.
The cattle are now under our care. The healthy working bulls will be given to local farmers under a strict adoption plan.
