Here’s another story from a volunteer, May Gilchrist, about the treatment of a little grey cat.

Karuna’s devoted employee Roshni was contacted by one of the villagers who was concerned about her little cat. When she went to see it, she realised that it had a hernia and arranged to bring it to Karuna for the Vet surgery which happens every Saturday.

The operation was very successful and the little cat healed quickly after the stitches were removed. The following week, she was eating and drinking well.

The family was constantly asking Roshni about their cat’s progress, and wishing for the return of their pet as quickly as possible. I was fortunate to be with Roshni when she dropped off the little cat, it was so good to see the delight on their faces!
