One of our working bulls had a bad fall in the night. We think he slipped, or maybe had a fight with another bull.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is an open fracture and the surgeon removed some pieces and put the bones together as best he could. Recovery is a long process, at least three months, and hopefully all will go well. If he is lucky and recovers he will have a stiff leg and he will stay with us forever, as just one more disabled animal at Karuna. He has worked hard in the fields and deserves our love & care!
