IMMEDIATE NEEDS

FOOD AND MEDICAL

• Regular contributions for the monthly expenses of the free clinics –  Rs.1,50,000/- approx. $3,300

• Regular monthly maintenance contributions which includes the medical care and feed for the cattle, donkeys and horses –  Rs.1,20,000/- approx. $2,600

• Donations for feed for the Painted Storks Rescue Project -  Rs.2,00,000/- approx. $4,400 – DONATED BY THE WILDLIFE TRUST OF INDIA

• Grass and feed for the cattle during the summer drought period – Rs.5,00,000/- approx $11,000 – DONATED BY ASIA PAPER MARKETS, SINGAPORE

• Small vehicle for local rescue and release of animals, local transport between projects and wildlife release –  Rs.6.50,000/- approx. $14,400 – DONATED BY THE ANIMAL WELFARE BOARD OF INDIA

SUPPORT AND LONG TERM

• Small Cat Shelter. We keep disabled cats but they are not very comfortable. At present they are kept in a big room in the clinic and get little attention. –  Rs.2,00,000/- approx. $4,400

• New office –  Rs.5,50,000/- approx. $12,200

• Improvement of infrastructure at Karuna’s Kindness Farm to enable us to manufacture products from cow byproducts and the use of compost and biogas. This project will make us more self sustainable –  Rs. 12.00.000/- approx. $38,900

• Contribution to Solar energy for the bore well pump –  Rs. 4,70,000/- approx. $10,400
  

Ongoing smaller items that are needed

Here are some smaller items that we always appreciate, whether brought in person if visiting or mailed to us:

• Used or New Towels, for nursing dogs post-surgery and keeping kennels warm
• Bandages
• Medicines
• Cat Carriers
